Math

Math is taught through whole group instruction and small groups. During whole group instruction, teachers introduce new topics and strategies. During small groups, teachers pull students to meet their needs in a topic whether that is reviewing, reteaching, or extending a student's learning.

Chocowinity Primary School uses the apps iReady, Reflex, and DreamBox during station time to allow students to work on the math skills that they need the most help with, as all these apps are adjusted to the pace of each student.
